Filtering:
Stage 1 - mechanical
filtration- water is pumped into the filter to create the necessary
pressure for effective mechanical filtration. In this phase, the filtration of
solid particles is carried out which is captured by different sponging
gradations
Stage 2 - biological filtration- the biological filtration process begins
when water reaches the bottom of the filter. This stage to
provide an excellent place to settle and reproduce bacteria. These bacteria
naturally convert harmful ammonia, ammonium, nitrates and other wastes,
including nitrogen compounds, into healthy nitrates, which are a fertilizer for
aquatic plants and support safe arthropod conditions by maintaining biological
balance.
Stage 3 - UV sterilization- the final filtration stage uses ultraviolet
light (UV) placed in the center of the filter. Emitted light kills algae and
